Speaker: The expert speaker has 15 years of experience in the auto sector. He is currently the automotive R&D Director of a leading provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices. Previously he served as Product R&D and Project Manager at a Chinese state-owned auto manufacturing company, mainly responsible for the development of the Bestune model. Before that he was an Automotive Design Engineer at a local auto firm.
2. What is Driving the Spiraling Technological Struggle Between China and the United States: Geo-Strategic, Geo-Economic and National Security Perspectives. [English]
Speaker: Prof. Tai Ming Cheung is a professor of international security affairs at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and the director of the University of California-wide Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC). He is an experienced analyst on Chinese and East Asian defense and national security affairs, especially related to economic, industrial, technology and innovation issues. He has also worked as an investment and political risk analyst based in Hong Kong and Japan. He has written and edited several scholarly books on Chinese and East Asian security issues, of which the most recent is Innovate to Dominate: The Rise of the Chinese Techno-Security State, which was published in August 2022 by Cornell University Press.

Speaker: The expert is a senior manager of ByteDance, primarily spearheading commercialization and operations strategy. Prior to this, the expert was responsible for e-commerce operations, where he oversaw Doyin痴 live-streaming e-commerce, live-streaming business, and merchants operations. He was also responsible for the overall planning of Douyin's annual e-commerce market operations plan, and promoting the commercialization process for various business initiatives.
