Tom Price, Head of Commodities Research. Tom joined Macquarie in January 2018 as head of the Global Commodities Research team. He has worked as a commodities analyst for over 15 years with AME, Citi,
Bank of America Merrill Lynch, UBS and Morgan Stanley writing on base and precious metals, steel and its raw materials, and power fuels of thermal coal and uranium. Prior to this, Tom worked in Australia and
Central Asia as a field geologist and project manager identifying and developing gold, copper and nickel projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science (geology, geophysics) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor
of Commerce (finance, economics) from the University of Western Australia.
 
Chris Gadd, Head of Agricultural Desk Analytics. Chris Gadd is head of Macquarie's Agricultural Desk Analytics and is based in Hong Kong. Chris has been with Macquarie since 2011 and led the buildout of the
analytical coverage of grains/oilseeds, softs, livestock and dairy products. Prior to joining Macquarie, Chris worked as a physical grains trader for the US agribusiness, ADM. Prior to this, Chris worked on his family's

Terence Chang, Sportswear, Textiles and Home Appliances Analyst joined Macquarie in January 2011 and is currently working in the China Consumer team with a focus on sportswear, textiles and footwear manufacturers,

Trang Thuy Le is a Macro and FX analyst, bringing 9 years of experience to the role. She focuses on EM Asia FX and combines fundamental economic analysis with in-depth knowledge of local markets in formulating FX views,
trade ideas and analysis. She was previously recognized by Bloomberg and macro-forecaster surveys such as Consensus Economics for her work in Asia FX and Asia economies.  Before Macquarie, Trang held a similar role at

Ric Deverell, Macquarie's Chief Economist and Head of Macro Strategy, has more than 25 years of experience analysing the global economy and financial markets. He joined Macquarie in August 2017 from Credit Suisse in New York,
where he was Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income and Economic Research. During the 2000s, Ric worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia, where he held several senior positions, including Deputy Head of the Economic
Analysis department and Chief Manager of International Markets and Relations. He ran the Reserve Bank of Australia's business liaison program during the Great Recession and was Governor Stevens' G-20 Sherpa during Australia's host
year in 2006. Ric spent the 1990s working in government, first with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and then with the Australian Treasury. He headed the Treasury's Asia section during the Asian Financial Crisis. With a broad
range of expertise and relationships across global economics, commodities, fixed income, foreign exchange, emerging markets, equity and credit markets, Ric provides an important perspective to analysing the challenges global economies
currently face. 

Larry Hu, Head of China Economics, with responsibility for the formulation of the China macroeconomic outlook and related forecasts. Prior to joining Macquarie in October 2013, Larry worked as a China economist at BAML and CICC.
In 2015, Larry was ranked top five among all China economists in the Institutional Investor Survey and Bloomberg China Economic Forecaster. Larry received a doctorate from the University of California at Davis, a master's degree from
Peking University, and a bachelor's degree from Fudan University, all in economics. 

Viktor Shvets, Head of Asian Strategy as well as Global Coordinator of Equity Strategy and joined Macquarie in Hong Kong in January 2013. Viktor has 30 years of equity research experience across various sectors and markets, including
Australia, Asia, US domestic and EEMEA. His most recent position was as the Head of Thematic research at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong and in the past Viktor was also employed by various major Banks, including Deutsche Bank (Hong
Kong and the US), Barings (Australia), DLJ (Europe) and Lehman Brothers/Nomura (Europe). Viktor has Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney and Master of Commerce from the University of NSW. He is also Fellow CPA. 

Dr Shan Lan, Global Head of Index Strategy. Shan has over 10 years' experience covering global index strategy. He has extensive experience covering major indices globally including MSCI, FTSE, Hang Seng, S&P, Russell, Stoxx, etc.
Shan has also been frequently consulted by index providers on index-related issues. Shan sits on several Index Advisory Committees, such as FTSE Asia-Pac, FTSE STI, and CSI (issuer for CSI 300, SSE 180, etc.). His work has been
quoted in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, CNBC, Barron's, The Economist, among others. Before joining Macquarie in June, Shan was Global Head of Index and ETF Strategy at Deutsche Bank, where he
built a top-rated global index/ETF strategy team. Shan graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Ph.D. in Engineering. Shan is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
